We are a grassroots, all-volunteer organization dedicated to assisting and empowering youth from culturally diverse communities in Concord, New Hampshire. Our kids are the heart of this organization, teaching us, inspiring us, and leading the way. We break down barriers, build up tomorrow's leaders, and create a community of belonging where every child can thrive. Together, we can unlock their potential, one story at a time.

OUR VISION

Project S.T.O.R.Y. combines education with holistic development and support to build successful pathways towards youth achievement, empowerment, and leadership in a variety of areas with the following goals:

Project S.T.O.R.Y. will empower and support youth in developing their character and talents to find their purpose, reach their potential, and become a leader in their community and beyond: By fostering a mindset of optimum character development, youth gain the ability to recognize and understand, both their potential and purpose, guiding them towards success and into future leadership roles.

Project S.T.O.R.Y. will establish and provide holistic development support models to ensure youth health, success, and security in all areas: By utilizing a holistic approach towards individual wellbeing and progress, youth receive specialized essential support to become empowered in leadership roles within the communities.

Project S.T.O.R.Y. will empower and educate youth in areas of racial justice and equity, in an effort to ensure safety, success, and unification through leadership within their community: By providing young people with the tools, skills, and education to fight racism, they can adequately maneuver and dismantle systemically challenging societal norms.

Project S.T.O.R.Y. will nurture empowered youth to engage in continuous reciprocation with the program to ensure the longevity of empowerment and leadership: By fostering a natural process of reciprocity, empowered individuals continue to extend services to facilitate the transition towards a unified and equity-driven community.

WHO WE ARE

Project STORY is a volunteer run organization!

Founded and directed by Concord resident Charm Emiko, our team is made up of a small group of dedicated volunteers several of whom are former participants! Currently, we serve over 110 children in Concord, NH ranging from ages 6 to 21. We envision a community where these remarkable children, who have grown with us, return as leaders, mentors, and change-makers. Meet the team here!
