CommUNITY Listening Event (Sept 16th, 11-2pm) - Please join us!

Dear Friends & Community Members,

I am writing to extend an invitation to our upcoming Project S.T.O.R.Y. CommUNITY Listening Event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 16th, from 11am to 2pm at the City Wide Community Center (14 Canterbury Rd). The primary objective of this session is to address the concerns raised by our young people, who have expressed a pressing need for increased trust-building and relationship development within our community. As our community continues to grow and diversify, it is of utmost importance that we come together to create an environment that nurtures and supports the flourishing of our young generation. We must recognize that their future, as well as that of the generations to come, hinges upon the actions we take today. It is imperative that we lend an attentive ear to their voices and learn from their experiences, so that we may provide them with the necessary resources and opportunities to thrive.

To achieve this, it is crucial that we unite as a community and establish a safe and inclusive space where our young people feel welcomed and empowered. The CommUNITY Listening Session Event has been thoughtfully designed to facilitate open and honest dialogue, enabling us to gain invaluable insights into their needs, aspirations, and concerns. By actively engaging with our young people, we can gain a deeper understanding of how best to support their growth and contribute to the creation of a brighter future for all.
