SPORTS
By engaging in sports, Project STORY youth experience physical well-being, emotional wellness, important social and community interactions, and valuable life lessons. We offer soccer, basketball, and dance programming. We ensure that each young person has what they need to participate including participation fees, equipment, clothing, and transportation.

Project STORY collaborates with Bob Wolfe at Crosstown Kids to sign up and outfit Project STORY kids for sports and provide transportation to practice and games. Together, we support 16-20 kids in both soccer and basketball throughout the year.
SOCCER
OUTDOOR SOCCER
Our outdoor soccer program offers spring, summer, and fall participation for athletes, with 1-2 practice/games per week. At the end of each season, the Director from Valeo Soccer Academy scouts our players and awards outstanding athletes full scholarships. Last year, Boris Hirwa, a 12-year-old, earned a spot and competes nationwide in states like Florida and Texas!
BASKETBALL
EMPOWER DANCE
PROGRAM MISSION
The mission of Empower Dance is to create diverse, equitable, and safe spaces for all dancers to learn and unite. Our classes provide a safe and welcoming space for diverse communities, as almost all students are from various African or Southeast Asian countries. According to the girls, this is an important aspect that allows them to feel comfortable and welcome.
